"RESET"
Autumn has arrived, and for the first time, I've ventured into planting bulbs. Weeks ago, I set daffodils into the earth and have since watched them diligently. Yet, frustration gnaws at me. Have I executed the task well? Is their placement apt? Are they overwatered or parched? What mysteries unfold beneath the soil?
But I've learned something profound: sometimes, the waiting period—the underground rest—is exactly what God designs for us. The bulbs must break apart, must be buried, must experience darkness and cold to eventually bloom gloriously.
"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."
~ Psalm 30:5
Trust the reset. Trust the seasons. Trust that what appears dead is actually preparing to flourish.
